Wicked & Captiv8 Productions Present

Jack & The Beanstalk - Christmas Panto

Wicked Productions return to Margate for their 4th spellbinding year with a GIANT of a pantomime, ‘Jack & the Beanstalk’!

Scale new heights on this enormous adventure for the whole family, where we guarantee some hilarious Fe Fi Fo FUN!

Join Jack on the adventure of a lifetime as this grounded dreamer is forced to swap his bovine best friend for a seemingly useless bag of beans, which soon turn out to be decidedly more magical than your average can of Heinz! Things really hot up for poor Jack when he has to climb into the sky and face the evil giant lurking above.

Will our unlikely hero rescue his udderly adorable cow, ‘Pat’ and childhood sweetheart, Jill?

Will he suffer from vertigo and plummet back to grassroots?

Will the Giant’s henchman get his comeuppance?

Or will Jack’s brother, Simple Simon, and mum, Dame Trott, cause havoc with their antics and scupper his quest to make his fortune?

Find out this festive season at the Theatre Royal Margate!

Back by popular demand, we are delighted to welcome our hilarious and cheeky comic Jez-O back for his 4th spectacular year.

With the stunning scenery, costumes, music, choreography, magic and fun you’ve come to expect from Wicked Productions, this year we aim to surpass ourselves with a show-stopping giant, beanstalk, toe-tapping songs and special effects.

So... Get your head out of the clouds and book your tickets now! We accept cash, card and magic beans*.

*Please note we do not accept regular beans as payment - even if you think they're the 'magical fruit' because they make you toot. We would accept Magic Beans as payment, but you'd need to prove their magical properties in person.

2018's Charity Partner - Margate Salvation Army

"We are pleased to be the Chosen Charity of this production and offer sincere thanks to all who will be supporting us through this pantomime season.

"The Salvation Army has been serving the local community of Margate for over 100 years. Today sees its doors open 4 mornings a week, offering support and advice without any preconceptions, to those who come in. We don't always have the answer or solution but we endeavour to point people in the right direction.

"This service is offered free of charge, along with free Tea and Coffee, plus a friendly environment. Other practical support is also offered, as and when the situation arises.  Anyone regardless of class, race or gender can find themselves falling on hard times at any time and we all deal with those issues in our own unique ways. Therefore, our aim is to treat every person as an individual.

"Since July this year, we have assisted more than 175 different people, many who have found themselves homeless, or affected by cuts in Government Social Assistance.

"We strive to stand up for social Injustices, one of which is exclusion due to poverty. According to recent local research carried out by us, we found that the small area of Central Margate has severe levels of deprivation, falling within the top 1% most deprived overall nationally, and 47% of children in Margate Central Ward are living in poverty.

"Through the building up of local partners, including Theatre Royal Margate and Wicked Productions, we, The Salvation Army, are able to combat some of these local community issues.

"By working together we can make a difference… OH YES WE CAN !!!!!

"Once Again on behalf of our service users who will be assisted from this year's charity collections I offer Sincere thanks."

- Richard D Oliver (Major), Commanding Officer – Margate Salvation Army
