VOLUNTEER TO BE AN AUDIENCE MEMBER IN FEATURE FILM ‘THE CARER’!
Sunday 15th March 2015 (10am-9pm) and/or Monday 16th March 2015 (1.30pm-9pm)
Theatre Royal Margate – Addington Street, Margate CT9 1PW
You will be given lunch on Sunday. Tea and coffee will be available all day on both days all day too. We offer a small contribution of £20 per day for your expenses.
Last call to volunteer as an ‘extra’ for a feature film “The Carer” tomorrow, Sunday 15th and Monday 16th March at the Theatre Royal, Margate.
We are filming a sequence with our main cast Brian Cox, Emilia Fox and Anna Chancellor which is a film/theatre awards ceremony so its black tie for the guys and long dresses for the girls.
It should be an exciting and enjoyable experience!
If you can make it please come to the Salvation Army hall adjacent to the Theatre Royal by 10am on Sunday and/or Monday. Ladies please bring some mascara and foundation (though please come with day time make up already on).
I’m sorry but children cannot be permitted. Meals and tea and coffee will be provided and travel expenses.
Contact us to confirm your attendance at email@example.com
What you will need:
Black Tie (ladies please bring two options)
Smart winter coat and scarf
Comfortable clothes to change into
Books/reading material as there might be some resting time
What you need to do:
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your availability
In the subject heading of the email please write:
MARGATE AUDIENCE SUNDAY and/or MONDAY* (*Please delete as necessary)
In the body of the email please write the following:
- Sunday and/or Monday’s filming
- Please confirm you are over 18
- Full Name (for a credit in the film)
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Confirm that you are available for the whole day
- Confirm that you have something suitable to wear
- Dietary requirements
- Allergies (including any skin allergies for makeup)
What will happen on the day:
You will dress up in your black tie outfit for the day and you will essentially be an audience member coming to watch something at the theatre.
The film crew will be filming the action in the scene in the foreground and you will be in the background, but because we’ll be shooting from lots of different angles, it’s important that you are there in the same seat with the same outfit on at the same point shot after shot, so we will need you all day. It will be lots of fun and you’ll be fed and watered and well looked after all day. Ladies, some of you may even get to have your hair and makeup done!
There is no specific parking at the theatre – local car park information can be found here.
If you can only come to one day, that is fine, just let us know.
What happens next:
We need a limited number of extras for both days’ filming, so we will contact everyone who applies to confirm if you have a place for the day(s) or not.
Any further questions – please call: Annabel Bates 07715 002013
Thank you and break legs!
